KAYAK TOURS FOR WOMEN HELD THIS SUMMER ON ALLEGHENY
Grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters -- escape your hectic schedules and enjoy the stunning Allegheny River in the company of other women. These guided trips are perfect for beginning paddlers young and old, those new to the river or for more experienced paddlers who just want some
company on the water.
"Women on the Water" trips are held at 5:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, weather permitting (June 18, July 2, July 16, Aug. 6, Aug. 20, Sept. 3, Sept. 17 and Oct. 1.). Each trip is roughly three hours long and covers a popular, calm and scenic part of the river, from Kinzua Dam to the Glade Bridge.
Each trip costs $50. Price includes your kayak rental, paddles, lifejacket, tax, instruction and a catered box dinner. Reservations required. Class size is limited. Sign up by calling 814-723-1203 or emailing info@alleghenyoutfitters.com.
